EMORY, Va. – The third-ranked King University women's wrestling team had six individuals compete on Friday at the Wasps Open. All six placed while two earned championships and two others finished runner-up.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado had the top two finishers at 101 pounds with sixth-ranked Mia Zuniga taking the title.
- Zuniga earned an 8-3 win over teammate Avery Kibelbek before a 10-0 technical fall win over Emmanuel University's Lynnlie Rountree. She then pinned Southern Virginia University's Dusti Casperson in 1:12 to finish undefeated.
- Kibelbeck finished runner-up as she followed the opening defeat with a 2:13 pin of Casperson and 2:24 pin of Rountree.
- Third-ranked Victoria Baez-Dilone came in first at 130 pounds with three wins. She started with a 10-0 technical fall over Huntingdon Colleges' Angelina Knepp before pinning Montreat College's Charlotte Wheeler in 24 seconds.
- She earned the title with an 8-2 win over Presbyterian Colleges' Cassia Zammit.
- Krysten Harr finished fourth at 136 pounds as she went 2-3 on the day with wins over Grace Royster of Southern Virginia (2:56 pin) and Naylee Ierley of York College (Pa.) (10-0 technical fall.
- Yasmine Kalilliy Oliveira won her first two matches to reach the final at 143 pounds. She pinned Huntingdon's Caden Collette in 1:22 before pinning Emory & Henry College's Skie Roulo in 2:02.
- However, she fell in the final to Presbyterian's Madeline Kubicki to take second.
- At 155 pounds, Olivia Schwender finsihed third, going 3-1 on the day. She started with a 12-0 technical fallo ver Taylor Grove of Bluefield State University before pinning Kappy Robbins of Southern Virginia in 1:31.
- Following a defeat, Schwender defeated Bluefield State's Hannah Catungal 10-7 to take third.
