Rhys Halcrow picked up a singles win Friday afternoon, with
Mat Vieira and
Alex Sodre teaming up for a win at no. 2 doubles, but the King University men's tennis team dropped their Conference Carolinas dual, 4-1 to Chowan University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Halcrow and Andre Schiabel narrowly fell 7-5 at the top doubles flight, Vieira and Sodre won their match 6-2, with Chowan taking the third doubles match 6-1 to claim the point.
- Sodre would fall 6-4, 6-3 at the top singles flight before Halcrow won 6-1, 6-2 over Santono Jose Sormani.
- The matches at no. 3 and no. 4 singles were unfinished, with Schiabel tied 1-1 in his match at the point of conclusion.
- The Hawks claimed the dual with wins at no. 5 and no. 6 singles.
UP NEXT
