HARROGATE, Tenn. – The King University men's wrestling team earned a pair of Conference Carolinas wins Wednesday night, beating Shorter 53-0 and Lincoln Memorial 54-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Shorter
- The Tornado won all 10 bouts, with three wins via forfeit.
- At 157 pounds, Trent Mahoney won via first period pin, kicking off a stretch of three straight wins via pin for the Tornado.
- Brennan Watkins and Alex Fernandez III both won via tech fall, with David Bertrand winning via 15-1 major decision at 285 pounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Lincoln Memorial
- Tyson Upchurch started the dual with a 9-5 win over Hernand Pinto, with Fernandez III adding a 13-2 win at 133 pounds.
- Ashtan Hendricks won via tech fall, 18-1 at 141 pounds before Jamarius Koshko and Mahoney each won via pin.
- Koshko, wrestling at 149 pounds, won his match over James Thaxton in 33 seconds, while Mahoney pinned Julian Smith in 3:33.
- The Tornado won the final five matches via forfeit.
