Tigerville, S.C. – The King University women's volleyball team opened postseason play with a thrilling first-round victory over Mount Olive before falling to host North Greenville inside Hayes Gymnasium. The Tornado (13–16, 10–10 Conference Carolinas) showed resilience and balance in their opening win, but the Crusaders (15–13, 12–8 Conference Carolinas) came in strong in the nightcap.
First Round – King vs. Mount Olive
King battled through four tight sets to earn a 3–1 victory (28–26, 24–26, 25–22, 25–23).
The Tornado closed out both the first and fourth sets in dramatic fashion, showing poise under pressure to advance to the quarterfinals.

King vs. North Greenville
In the second match of the day, King fell 3–0 to North Greenville (25–19, 25–10, 26–24).
- Gracia Love paced the Tornado with eight kills and 11 digs.
- Krick added five kills and two blocks, while Nelson contributed four kills and three blocks.
- Clayton served three aces and scored six points overall.
- Morse once again led the back row with 16 digs, and Hall tallied 12 assists and 11 digs.
- Freshman Madison Blair provided a spark off the bench with four kills in limited action.
King fought hard in the third set, pushing NGU to extra points before falling 26–24.
