Murfreesboro, NC – The King University men's tennis team picked up their first conference win of the season in a 6-1 victory over Chowan Saturday.

- King started off strong in doubles by winning the no. 2 doubles and the no. 3 doubles and securing the point
- Hoto Tajima was able to get the win at no. 2 singles beating his opponent 4-6, 6-4, 11-9
- Rhys Halcrow got the win at no. 3 singles beating his opponent 6-2, 7-5
- Danny Neleman picked up a win at no. 2 singles beating his opponent 3-6, 6-2, 10-7
- Caetano Luzzi won at no. 4 singles beating his opponent 6-4, 6-0
- Mat Vieira gets the final win of the day for the Tornado with a win at no. 6 singles beating his opponent 6-2, 6-1
