WILSON, N.C. – The King University men's volleyball season came to an end in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Quarterfinal on Wednesday as they fell to Barton in three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colton Bueter, Sean Haberthy, and Dalton Claiborne each recorded two kills in the opening set. JP Ribeiro had a set-high 6 digs and 5 assists.
- Claiborne added two more kills early in the second set. Up front, Ribeiro had three block assists, while Haberthy (2) and Grayson Stoudt (1) added to the defensive effort.
- In the third set, both teams traded points until Barton scored three in a row to make it 10-8. King tied the game again at 14 with a kill from Haberthy, but the Bulldogs quickly regained their lead.
- Justin Sawyer and Bueter each had three kills in the close set and Sawyer registered a solo block, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Bulldogs.
