Vazquez-Adame finishes 8th, leading team to 5th place

GREENVILLE, SC. – The King University women's cross country team competed in the Bruins XC Night Classic on Friday, September 5th, running a 4k race.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Junior, Ermay Vazquez Adame, led the Tornado ladies to a 5th place team finish out of 16 teams. Vazquez-Adame finished 8th overall with a time of 15:46 for the 4k distance. 
  • Junior, Lexie LaDuc, and senior, Emily Ward, both placed in the top 25. LaDuc placed 17th overall with a time of 16:20 and Ward placed 24th overall with a time of 16:38. 
UP NEXT
The King University cross country teams travel to Charlotte, N.C. next Friday on September 12th to compete at the Queen City Invite hosted by Queens University at Mcalpine Creek Park.
