Vazquez-Adame finishes 8th, leading team to 5th place

GREENVILLE, SC. – The King University women's cross country team competed in the Bruins XC Night Classic on Friday, September 5th, running a 4k race.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Junior, Ermay Vazquez Adame, led the Tornado ladies to a 5^th place team finish out of 16 teams. Vazquez-Adame finished 8^th overall with a time of 15:46 for the 4k distance. 
• Junior, Lexie LaDuc, and senior, Emily Ward, both placed in the top 25. LaDuc placed 17^th overall with a time of 16:20 and Ward placed 24^th overall with a time of 16:38.

The King University cross country teams travel to Charlotte, N.C. next Friday on September 12^th to compete at the Queen City Invite hosted by Queens University at Mcalpine Creek Park.
