BRISTOL, Tenn. — Betancourt delivered one of the most efficient and impactful performances in Conference Carolinas this week, earning recognition as the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week after powering King University to back-to-back victories.

Across the Tornado's two wins, Betancourt averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7 assists, showcasing his ability to influence the game at every level. His efficiency was nothing short of elite—he shot 77.3 percent from the field and 80.0 percent from three-point range, pairing high-volume scoring with remarkable precision.

Betancourt opened his standout week with a dominant showing against North Greenville, posting 23 points, eight rebounds, and two assists while going 9-of-12 from the floor. His ability to score at all three levels set the tone in a convincing King victory.

He followed with another exceptional performance versus Southern Wesleyan, recording 22 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Betancourt was flawless from deep, hitting all four of his three-point attempts and finishing 8-of-10 from the field to help secure the Tornado's second win of the week.
