Bristol, Tenn.- Eliana Bommarito continues to raise the bar for dominance in collegiate women's wrestling. The King University senior has been named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week after a commanding performance at the NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Dual Championships.
Wrestling at 207 pounds, Bommarito delivered a flawless 4–0 record for the Tornado, with every victory coming by pin in under one minute. She opened the event with a 33-second fall over Quincy's Trinity White, followed by a 32-second pin against Emmanuel's Gemma Templeman. She closed out the weekend with a 53-second pin over William Jewell's Desiree Hall and a second quick fall over White, this time in 52 seconds.
Her blend of power, speed, and mat awareness has made her one of the most imposing upper-weight competitors in the nation. This weekly honor highlights not only her dominance but also her consistency as a key leader in King's lineup.
