Spartanburg, S.C. – The King University women's basketball team took care of business on the road as they traveled to Converse and put up 100 points while holding Converse to 49 points. With stand-out players

Game Flow
King opened the afternoon with a 29-22 lead after the first quarter. The Tornado then got to work in the second quarter. King outscored Converse 22 to 4. Having a great defensive hold, only letting up two baskets all quarter, while shooting 60% from two and 66% from three. The Tornado would keep dominating in the third quarter, where they would score 28 points and let up only 10. In the final quarter, King scored 21 points, all of which were from the bench. The final scored being 100 to 49.

King Highlights
- Aliyah Hawkins delivered an impressive performance, having herself another double-double for the season, scoring 12 points while having 10 assists. She also added two steals to her total on the defensive side of the ball.
- Samantha Lee scored the team high of 18 points and grabbed five rebounds.
- Jaelyn West contributed an impressive 17 points for herself and five rebounds. She went 3-4 from the three-point line.
- Mary Elizabeth Fox was nearly perfect from two, going 7-8 from two, having 16 points, and another nine rebounds.
- King shot an impressive 56.4 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three, while outrebounding Converse 50–27 and forcing 21 turnovers.

Converse was led by
Tatiana Brown, who scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Janiyah Hagood added ten points and two steals, while
Mazie Helpman posted seven points and five boards. Despite their effort, the Valkyries shoot 25% from two and 20% from three.
