Both Men’s and Women’s Tennis Battle but Fall to Carson Newman

The Tornado fell in both the men’s and women’s matches, battling in each to try to earn a win.

Men:
 
Jefferson City, Tenn. – The King University Men's Tennis team took on Carson Newman on the road, falling 4-3 in a comeback, with the Eagles snapping the comeback. King would fall early, losing two of the three doubles matches, with a score of 1-0 in favor of Carson Newman.
 
The singles matches were intense with Carson Newman getting the ones and threes wins, putting the score at 3-0. King was able to turn things around in the fours, fives, and sixes matches, winning all of them.
 
Ben Jones started it with a 6-2 set one win and a 6-2 set two win. Rohan Chalisgaonkar then won his first set in a clean sheet 6-0, then won the second 6-4. Lucas Machado rounded things up for the Tornado, getting a win with set one going 6-3 and set two 6-1.
 
The final deciding singles match came in the twos match, where Bar Meshel won the first set 6-2. He would fall in the second set in extra points 7-5. The final set came down to a 10-6 loss for Meshel, falling short of the comeback victory for King.

Women:
 
Jefferson City, Tenn. – The King University Women's Tennis team took on Carson Newman, falling 7-0. After falling in the doubles, King fell 3-0. The Tornado would fall in every match, not finishing three of them by DNF.
