JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Back and bigger in its second year, Visit Johnson City and King University Softball are partnering to host the Big Region Preseason Invitational presented by BurWil Construction. The collegiate softball event will take place February 8-9 at the James K. Ellis Softball Complex at Winged Deer Park.
WHEN (DATES HAVE BEEN UPDATED DUE TO SATURDAY'S CHANCE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER):
- Sunday, February 8 – First pitches at 10:00 AM; games lasting until 4 PM
- Monday, February 9 – First pitches at 10:00 AM; games lasting until 4 PM

- Carson-Newman University (Jefferson City, TN)
- Concord University (Athens, WV)
- Converse University (Spartanburg, SC)
- Davis & Elkins College (Elkins, WV)
- Emory & Henry University (Emory, VA)
- Glenville State University (Glenville, WV)
- King University (Bristol, TN)
- Lincoln Memorial University (Harrogate, TN)
- Mars Hill University (Mars Hill, NC)

WHY: This event is a stepping stone to the beginning of the collegiate softball season, while
actively showcasing Johnson City and the Tri-Cities region as a whole.
ADMISSION: Tickets range from $10 to $20.
