Bristol, Tenn. – King University is proud to announce that Mitchel Kahlenberg and Jonathan Webster have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Baseball Team, recognizing their excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
The announcement was part of a conference-wide release on Tuesday, as Conference Carolinas honored student-athletes from across its member institutions for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements. Kahlenberg and Webster join a distinguished group of honorees representing programs throughout the league.
A Prestigious Academic Honor
The Academic All-District® program, selected by College Sports Communicators, celebrates the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic performance. It is one of the most respected academic awards in collegiate athletics and serves as the first step toward potential Academic All-America® distinction.
Honorees who earn Academic All-District® status are automatically considered for the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, where first-, second-, and third-team selections will be announced on June 23, 2026. The Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA.
The Division II and III Academic All-America® programs receive partial financial support from their respective NCAA governance structures to assist CSC with awards fulfillment. The NAIA governance structure provides similar support for the NAIA program.
