BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's triathlon team is poised for another thrilling season in 2026, taking on a series of high-stakes races across the region and nation. With a schedule that features conference showdowns, regional tests, and a bid for national honors, the Tornado are ready to make waves this fall.
The season opens on September 4 at the Buccaneer Collegiate Cup, with the first gun sounding at 5:45 PM. The action continues on September 13 at the Lake Davidson Triathlon, an early morning test of endurance and teamwork.
October brings the heart of the championship season. The Tornado will compete at the Conference Carolinas Championship on October 4 (time TBA), before heading to the Women's Collegiate Triathlon East Regional Championship on October 17, starting at 8:00 AM.
King's season culminates on November 8 at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship, where the nation's best gather to compete for the ultimate prize. The Tornado will look to cap their season with a strong showing on the national stage at 10:30 AM.
