Bristol, TENN.- The King University men's soccer team dropped its season opener 3-0 to Trevecca Nazarene on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Trojan Soccer Complex. After a scoreless first half, Trevecca Nazarene netted three goals in the second half to secure the victory.
With the score locked at 0-0 at halftime, Trevecca Nazarene broke through in the 51st minute when Chris Douglas scored with an assist from Connor Woulfe. The Trojans doubled their lead in the 59th minute on an unassisted goal from Jack Franklin. Levi Jones capped the scoring in the 65th minute, finishing off an assist from Ciaran Bellis to give Trevecca a commanding 3-0 advantage.
King pressed to get back into the match, generating eight shots and five corner kicks, but could not find the back of the net. King goalkeeper
