Fall Branch, Tenn. – The King University Disc Golf team competed in its first competition of the 2026-27 season at an Appalachian Conference match hosted by Milligan. The leader for King was
Hunter Osborne, who threw a -5 through 18 holes with a total of eight birdies. He was able to finish the final four holes with three birdies alone to move him into third place on the day.
Blake Lawson had a strong showing as well, with a sixth-place finish with seven birdies, finishing with a -2.
Mason Emery and
Curtis Pinkston also competed for King. Emery finished in 10
th place with even par, and Pinkston finished in 20
th with a +12.
The King squad in the team round finished in fifth place with a score of -3 through 36 holes.
