BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University's Men's Wrestling is getting set for the 2026-27 season, with hopes of repeating last season's success and a packed schedule that is sure to get them ready for another postseason push. Last season, they placed second in the region and are looking to qualify for the conference and send even more athletes to nationals this season.
This year, the team will start off with a larger invitational at the PJ Smith Pembroke Classic on November 7
th. They will then come home for their first home match of the season on November 14
th against Allen at 1:00 PM. The team will then host their annual King Classic the following day, which is sure to bring in some of the top athletes in the area to meet in Bristol. Their other major invitationals this season are the Midwest Classic on December 12
th, Millersville Duals on January 23
rd, and the Cumberland Open on January 31
st.
Their final match of the season will be at home against UNC Pembroke in February, starting at 7:00 PM.
