• Narrowly missed All-Conference Carolinas honors by less than one second
• Finished 22nd at the Conference Carolinas Championships with a 5k time of 17:34.2
• Came in 13th in his first career meet, covering the 5k distance at Southern Wesleyan in 17:39.4
• Came in 26th with a 7.4k time of 27.23 at the Tom Scott Open

• Participated in cross country, track & field and soccer at Corinth High School
• Helped the Warriors to four straight cross country state championships
• Four-time Daily Journal 4A Cross Country team of the Year
• Member of a soccer team that won a pair of division titles
• Four-time and All-State and five-time All-Division selection in cross country
• Earned the Iron Sharpens Iron and Iron Warrior awards as a freshman
• Selected for the Firetruck Award in cross country as a sophomore
• As a junior, won the Iron Warrior award again
• Won the Chief, Rhett Robinson and Six Year awards in cross country as a senior
