For the month of February, Billings has led the King University men's wrestling with a record of 19-9. In King's match against Coker University, Billings starting King on a strong note with an absolutely devastating win by tech fall. He would walk off the mat in the third period with a 20-2 win. Against Belmont Abbey, the sophomore maintained control throughout the bout for a strong 8-0 win by major decision. At the NCAA Super Region 2 Championships this past weekend, Billings grabbed a 7-2 decision over Josh Aquino of Newberry College to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinal he lost a 3-1 lead with a short time to go into sudden victory. He nearly finished on the edge but would, unfortunately, fall to Melvin Rubio of Queens University to drop to the consolation bracket. Billings bounced back in the consolation semi-final and finished with a 9-4 victory over Mitchell McGhee of Emmanuel College. In the consolation finals, Billings took a 6-0 victory over Josh Vega of Belmont Abbey College, qualifying him for the NCAA Division II National Championship.
