The nation's leading scorer had another big week, averaging 43.0 points per game, shooting 53.4 percent from the floor and 47.6 percent from long range. He scored 43 points in King's double-overtime win at Erskine College on Wednesday before scoring 43 points again in a come-from-behind win at the University of Mount Olive on Saturday. He scored the final 11 points on a 15-0 run that gave King a 90-80 with 2:31 remaining. He now has six games with at least 40 points and has scored exactly 43 points, the King school record, four times this season. Floyd also set the school record for points in a season, he now has 718 points this season, passing Mark Dockery who scored 684 points in 2010-11. He is now fifth on the all-time scoring list with 1,662 career points. Floyd also snared nine rebounds at Mount Olive, setting a career-high.
