Emma Hughes led the Tornado in the circle this weekend, as the senior pitched two complete games, finishing with a total of 14 strikouts. On Saturday, Emma pitched a complete game in the second contest of King's doubleheader against UVa-Wise. She allowed only three hits and one run, and she finished the contest with nine strikouts. On Sunday, Hughes pitched another complete game in the second contest of King's doubleheader against Milligan. She allowed only four hits and kept Milligan scoreless. She struck out five, including a strikeout in the final inning with runners on second and third that led to a King 1-0 victory.
