ERIE, Pa. – Ashley Berlin of the King University acrobatics & tumbling team qualified for the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Event Finals in the six-element tumbling pass. Over the weekend, Berlin finished second behind a competitor from the University of Oregon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Berlin came up with a pass of 9.850 her best score of the season.
- The score is also the highest six-element score in program history.
- Reagan Trussell of Oregon posted a score of 9.875, edging Berlin for the title.
