BRISTOL, Tenn. – Ashley Berlin helped the King University acrobatics & tumbling team to a pair of wins last week, leading King to their first 3-0 start in program history. At the meet, she set a program record and was selected Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week.

Berlin continues to be the leader for the Tornado, competing in 13 heats last week as King defeated Belmont Abbey College and East Texas Baptist University. She set another program record in the tumbling aerial pass, scoring 9.825 out of a possible 10.00 points. That marks the second program record she has set this season.

This marks the second time she has earned ECAC Player of the Week honors and first time this season.

The Tornado will be in action again on Saturday when they travel to fifth-ranked Gannon University.
