Berlin finishes fifth at NCATA Event Finals

WACO, Texas – For the second straight year Ashley Berlin of the King University acrobatics & tumbling team qualified for the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Event Finals. This year she qualified in the tumbling aerial pass where she finished fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Berlin was one of three competitors to have a start value of 10.000 in the tumbling aerial pass.
  • She scored 9.575, giving her a fifth place finish.

FOR THE FOES

  • Hope Bravo of Baylor University was the national champion with a pass of 9.900.
