Strader comes to King from Loyola University New Orleans, where he was a four-time Southern States Athletic Conference All-Academic team member and was also named to the dean’s list four times. On the field, he helped Loyola reach the NAIA national tournament for the first time in program history in 2021, before leading them back to the tournament in 2022.

“We are ecstatic to have Coach Strader join our staff,” head baseball coach Blaine Brown said. “His experience as a two-way player will benefit everyone on the team. He has come in and hit the ground running. His passion and energy will be felt immediately in the program.”
