BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Saturday afternoon's game against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders has been moved up to start at 10:45 a.m. due to weather that is scheduled to hit the Bristol area later today. Senior Day festivities will begin at 10:20 a.m. with the ceremonial first pitch by members of the 1987 National Championship baseball team to precede the start of today's game.
The game marks the regular season and series finale against the Crusaders. King won both games in Friday's doubleheader by scores of 8-6 and 2-0 to gain ground on Belmont Abbey in the division standings and clinch their spot in the playoffs. With a win on Saturday, the Tornado will win the West Division and earn an automatic No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
