King season-opener moved up

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Due to weather, the King University baseball season-opener has been moved up. King will now open the season on Friday at Anderson University with first pitch from Anderson, S.C. scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The teams will then play a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Tornado went 29-19 a season ago while Anderson posted a 25-29 record. This marks the second straight season the Tornado and Trojans have squared off to start the season. Anderson won two of the three meetings last February.
