King Cycling ends trip to Florida with higher finishes

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The King College cycling team wrapped up the first weekend of the road season Sunday at the University of Florida with more criterium riding.

Casey Stallard (Bristol, Va.) improved from his opening day to finish eighth in the "C" race. Reid Yoder (Hoagland, Ind.) was not far behind in 13th.

Both of King's "B" riders improved with T.J. Killelea (Chattanooga, Tenn.) crossing the finish line 10th with Brent Baker (Kingsport, Tenn.) 12th.

On the women's side Ellie Ferguson (Knoxville, Tenn.) climbed two spots from her Saturday result to finish seventh Sunday.

Next on the schedule will be a full weekend of racing at Georgia Southern University on Saturday and Sunday.
