Sparks adds Ellis to signing class

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University cycling head coach Alan Sparks is proud to announce the signing of Kyle Ellis. He will bring a solid background in both mountain biking and cyclocross to the Tornado squad next season for Sparks.

Ellis will help the team with his strength, serious dedication and will be an important part of the growing cycling team. Kyle had a successful racing resume with the NICA Georgia High School Racing League competing on his mountain bike finishing as co-Champion in this year's series conference finals.

Ellis also had a successful junior career with Cycle Youth led by coach Andy Johnston. He is also a very good cyclocross, and Sparks looks forward to adding him to an already powerful cyclocross squad here at King.

The Cummings, Ga., native recently attained his Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America so volunteering and thoughtfulness come naturally to Kyle. He is a perfect fit for King University with such integrity, honor and discipline.

"We are proud to, once again, have signed another outstanding Cycle Youth junior to King University Cycling," Sparks said.
