Men’s Basketball to Host Alumni Game on Saturday
Men's Basketball will host an Alumni Game to bring back Tornado players from yesteryear for lighthearted and competitive fun before the start of the 2012-13 season.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Reigning Coach of the Year George Pitts and the defending Conference Carolinas Regular Season Champion Tornado men's basketball team invite students, faculty, staff, and the Tri-Cities community to its annual Alumni Game. The contest will host Tornado players from yesteryear to take on the 2012-13 squad in a friendly exhibition on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. to be played in the Student Center Complex.

Players from last year's NCAA Tournament team as well as those from previous eras of Tornado basketball will join together for a scrimmage to test what team will triumph, that with age or those without as many miles on the tires. Join them and cheer on either team, but regardless, a Tornado team will win!

The scrimmage precedes the Tornado's first exhibition contest of the 2012-13 season, a rematch between state-line rival Virginia Intermont College. King will play the Cobras inside the Cobra's Den (Bristol, Va.) on Tuesday, Oct. 30 with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
