BRISTOL, Tenn. – Jordan Floyd of the King University men's basketball team posted another 30-point game last week and was selected Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Player of the Week for the second straight week.

Floyd registered his 15th 30-point outburst this week, leading the Tornado past Chowan University on Saturday. In the contest, he scored 38 points, going 14-for-22 from the floor, including 8-for-14 from three-point range. It marks the second time this year he has made eight triples in a game. The eight trifectas in a game are the third-most in a game in program history. Earlier in the week, he scored 29 points, going 12-for-13 from the free throw line at Emmanuel College.

This marks the fifth time Floyd has been selected TSWA Player of the Week. He was also selected TSWA Player of the Week on November 13 and 18 as well as January 8 and February 11.

King plays their final home game of the regular season Wednesday against Erskine College at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Complex.
