BRISTOL, Tenn. – In the second of three sets of NCAA Regional Rankings, the King University men's basketball team is ranked seventh. The Tornado are currently 22-6 overall, but 19-6 in NCAA Southeast Region games.
Lincoln Memorial University is currently atop the region with UNC Pembroke in second. The Tornado are one of two Conference Carolinas schools in the rankings as Belmont Abbey College is eighth.
King completed the regular season with an overall record of 22-6, going 16-4 in Conference Carolinas play to win the outright regular season title. It marks the fourth time has won the Conference Carolinas regular season championship.
The Tornado are the top seed in the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship and will host eighth-seeded North Greenville University on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Center Complex.
The final NCAA Regional Rankings will be released next Wednesdays before the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Selection Show on March 8 at 10:30 p.m.
