BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's basketball team closed out their regular season Conference Carolinas Championship with a win last week. Jordan Floyd was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week after scoring 36 points in the Tornado win.
In the final game of the regular season, Floyd scored 36 points at North Greenville University. In the contest, he went 14-for-24 from the floor, including a 4-for-7 mark from three-point range. He also grabbed six rebounds in the victory. The 30-point outburst now gives Floyd 17 games with at least 30 points this season.
This marks the seventh time this season Floyd has been selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week.
King opens the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship as the top seed. The Tornado host eighth-seeded North Greenville in a quarterfinal on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Center Complex.
