Cook joined the Tornado staff prior to the 2022-23 season, following a four-year stint as an assistant volleyball coach and administrative assistant at Lake-Sumter State College in Clermont, Fla. She helped the Lakehawks improve their win total to 25 in 2021 after winning 30 combined matches the previous three years.

In 2021, the Lakehawks set many program records a they reached the NJCAA National Tournament and set program records for wins in a season and conference wins in a season. Cook helped in every aspect of the program from recruiting to evaluating film, strength and conditioning, and academics.

Cook also served as an assistant coach at Top Select Volleyball Academy for eight years and served as a head coach and assistant coach for EVP Volleyball Club for one year. She was an assistant coach at Cowley College for two years while also serving as the head coach for ICT Mavs Volleyball for one year.

Cook has experience working camps at the University of Florida, University of South Florida and University of Tampa where she served as the head setting coach.

Cook earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Central Florida in 2014, in Hospitality and Resort Management and Restaurant Management. She then earned her Master of Hospitality Management from Central Florida in 2022.
