Sydney Pigage '20

Pigage joined the Tornado coaching staff prior to the 2020 season and following an outstanding career donning the scarlet and navy.

Pigage is no stranger to the Tornado volleyball programs as she was a student-athlete for the Tornado, including a captain of the women’s volleyball team for Booher a season ago. She helped the Tornado win the Conference Carolinas West Division championship last season, earning a spot on the all-tournament team in the process.

In 2019, Pigage ranked fifth in Conference Carolinas with an average of 4.34 digs per set, accounting for 386 total digs. She set a career-high with 31 digs in conference tournament semifinal win over Limestone College. In her career, Pigage accounted for 1,044 digs for an average of 3.12 per set while playing in 335 sets and 95 matches.

Additionally, Pigage earned academic all-conference during both her junior and senior years. While pursuing her Master’s in Business, Pigage will be working with both volleyball programs by assisting in practices, scouting, and recruiting.
