Bradford, Rigamonti finish in top 10 at King Invite

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's golf team concluded play the King University Invitational with a pair of solid rounds from each team. The A team finished third with a total of 574 and the B team took sixth at 584. The Tornado had a pair of individuals finish in the top 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Alex Bradford led the Tornado with a score of even-par 70, giving him a tournament total of 137. That landed him in a tie for second place.
  • Robert Wilkinson posted a round under par, shooting one-under 69 to finish 11th with a total of 142.
  • Not far behind was Ryan Bradshaw who finished 12th with a score of 143 following a second round of even-par 70.
  • Matthew Dalrymple and Miles Ruff round out the A team with tournament scores of 152 and 155, respectively. Each carded a 77 in the final round.
  • Leo Rigamonti led the B team with a score of 140, shooting two rounds at even-par 70. He finished seventh.
  • Chad Couch narrowly missed the top 10, finishing 12th with a score of 143 following a second round of two-under 68.
  • Following an opening round of 79, Kesley March improved to shoot 73 for a total of 152.
  • Evan Gray also improved on his opening round of 79 to shoot 74 in the second round, finishing with a stroke total of 153.
  • Rounding out the team was Wataru Koguchi who shot 81 in the second round for a total of 156.
  • Playing as individuals, Daniel Everhart shot 160 following a second round of 78 and Noah Harkness shot 80 in the second round for a total of 167.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The round of two-under 68 for Couch was his career-low.

FOR THE FOES

  • North Greenville University won the team tournament with a score of 559 while Anderson University finished second at 567.
  • Grayson Bell of Anderson was the individual champion with a score of four-under 136.
