King finishes 11th at Southern Tide Classic

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The King University men's golf team finished 11th at the Southern Tide Classic with a tournament total of 889 following a final round of 303. Robert Wilkinson led the Tornado with a 15th place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Wilkinson finished with a round of 76, giving him a tournament total of 216 and 15th place finish.
  • Alex Bradford posted a final round of 74 to finish with a tournament total of 223.
  • Coming in with a third round score of 76 and a tournament score of 227 was Chad Couch.
  • Leo Rigamonti finished with a tournament score of 227 as well, following a final round of 81.
  • Matthew Dalrymple finished the tournament with a round of 77 to finish with a tournament total of 231.

FOR THE FOES

  • Lincoln Memorial University won the tournament with a score of 15-under 841. They were the only team under par as Carson-Newman University and Coker College finished second at 859.
  • Carson-Newman's Tom Forster won the individual tournament with a score of 12-under 202.
