King in 3rd, Wilkinson fifth going into conference championship final round

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The King University men's golf team held the lead after the first round of the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship, and the Tornado slid down the leaderboard in the second round. King shot 308 and the Tornado are in third place after two rounds. Robert Wilkinson is still in the top 10 for the Tornado.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Robert Wilkinson is in fifth place as he followed an opening round of 71 with a round of 75 for a tournament total of 146.
  • Alex Bradford has a tournament total of 149 following his second round of 76.
  • Miles Ruff improved on a round of 77 with a score of 76 in the second round for a total of 153.
  • Matthew Dalrymple also owns a tournament score of 153 following a second round of 81.
  • Leo Rigamonti rounds out the team with a score of 154 after he carded an 83 in the second round.

FOR THE FOES

  • North Greenville University leads the tournament with a score of 578 while Barton College is in second at 590.
  • Seth Robertson and Austin Duncan of North Greenville are tied for the lead with a two-round total of five-under 139.

UP NEXT

  • The tournament concludes with the final round on Tuesday. The Tornado tee off starting at 9:15 a.m.
