BRISTOL, Tenn. – Robert Wilkinson of the King University men's golf team turned in a great senior season and was recognized by Conference Carolinas on Friday when they announced their all-conference performers. Wilkinson was selected second team All-Conference Carolinas for the first time in his career.
Wilkinson led the Tornado with a stroke average of 73.21, four top 10 finishes and two top five finishes. Playing in all 24 rounds for the Tornado, he posted 11 rounds of par or better, including his season low round of 69 five times.
His low 54-hole score was 213 at the Matt Dyas Invitational where he finished fifth and his low 36-hole score was 139, coming at the Tennessee River Rumble where he finished second. The Dundas, Canada native finished 10th at the Battle at Hilton Head with a score of 148 and finished the season with a sixth place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship with a tournament score of 217.
