Vik earns CSCAA Scholar All-America honors

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time in program history, the King University men's swimming team had an individual selected College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America. Simen Vik earned honorable mention honors in his first year on campus.

Vik was one of 1,221 swimmers and divers across the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA that were recognized for having a GPA of 3.50 or better and competed at the national championships. Vik earned honorable mention accolades by achieving a "B" time standard. He was one of 890 student-athletes to earn honorable mention honors.

He was one of five student-athletes at Conference Carolinas member schools to be selected CSCAA Scholar All-America. Barton College had two women selected and Emmanuel College had two men.
