Tornado toppled by Crusaders

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team traveled to Belmont Abbey College Friday afternoon for a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Tornado struggled as they fell to the Crusaders 9-0.

  • Lenny Keswani fell in the No. 1 singles matchup after having to retire while Lennard Neumann fell 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 in his No. 2 singles flight.
  • In No. 3 singles, Alejandro Feliciano fell 6-4, 6-1. Jorge Luis Rojas fell in No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-1.
  • Charles Jabaley lost his singles matchup 6-3, 6-1 while teammate Arturo Alfaro fell 6-0, 6-0 in the final singles matchup for the Tornado.
  • In doubles, King fell in all three of their matchups including the closest in No. 3 doubles where Jabaley and Sebastian Lieflaender fell 8-5.


  • King travels to the University of Mount Olive tomorrow for a 9:30 am matchup with the Trojans.
  • Belmont Abbey hosts Johnson C. Smith College tomorrow morning.
