Prior to King: Played tennis at Newberry College and finished in second place in the conference tournament.

High school: Four-time conference and district champions...Three-time regional champions...Two-time state champion and 2015 National Champion...All-Conference all four years...Seven individual golds medals for state and one silver...Only team sport to win states in high school and first men's state champion for Wiregrass Ranch High School.
