Jabaley tabbed Conference Carolinas Player of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. Charles Jabaley had a big week for the King University men's tennis team, leading the Tornado to a 2-0 week. The senior went 4-0, earning Conference Carolinas Player of the Week honors.

Jabaley was key to the Tornado win against North Greenville as he came back from a couple deficits. After dropping the first set, he won the second set over Giacomo Garini 6-4. Jabaley was then down 0-3 in the third set before rolling off six straight games to take the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, helping King to the 4-3 win. In doubles play he won both of his matches this week, 6-4 and 6-2.

This marks the first weekly award he has won in his career.

The Tornado are in action on Wednesday at Lees-McRae College. The Conference Carolinas dual is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
