BRISTOL, Tenn. – Prior to the start of the Conference Carolinas Tennis Championship, the league announced their academic all-conference performers. Four King University men's tennis players were recognized.
All four Tornado had GPAs higher than 3.80, led by Lennard Neumann's 3.97 GPA. Arturo Alfaro owns a 3.89 GPA and Alejandro Feliciano registered a 3.86 GPA. Charles Jabaley was the final Tornado to earn academic all-conference honors with a 3.82 GPA.
On the court, Neumann posted a 9-12 overall singles record, and in doubles play, Neumann recorded a 12-6 record, including a 5-3 conference mark. Alfaro owned an 11-10 record in singles play, going 9-7 in league play while Feliciano was 11-7 overall and 6-3 in Conference Carolinas play.
Jabaley finished with an 11-9 singles record, going 5-4 in league play. In doubles, Feliciano went 14-8, and 5-4 in league play while Jabaley posted a 12-9 mark and 6- record in conference play.
Conference Carolinas academic all-conference teams are comprised of junior and senior student-athletes who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution.
