Former Tornado Moushikhian signs professional contract

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Former King University men's volleyball player Eddie Moushikhian has signed a contract to play professionally. A 2017 graduate, Moushikhian has signed to play Anorthosis Famagusta Volleyball in Limassol, Cyprus.

"I am so very proud of Eddie and his accomplishment of playing professional volleyball," King Head Men's Volleyball Coach Ryan Booher said. "It has been his dream to do this and his hard work and persistence has paid off. We wish him the best in his new adventure."

Moushikhian will join Anorthosis Famagusta Volleyball in their season that is already in progress and lasts for six months. Anorthosis Famagusta Volleyball is a Category A Men's Championship Level 1 team. For more information on Anorthosis Famagusta Volleyball, click here.

In his career at King, Moushikhian recorded 964 kills, setting the school record a season ago. He also ranks second in school history with 525 career digs. During his senior season he garnered third team All-Conference Carolinas.

Moushikhian becomes the third Tornado to sign to play professionally, joining Joel Salva and Mason Casner.
