Booher travels to The Netherlands with USA Athletes International

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Earlier this summer, King University Men's Volleyball Head Coach Ryan Booher traveled to the Netherlands with U.S.A Athletes International (USAAI). This marked the second straight year, Booher was a coach for the men's volleyball team that traveled overseas.

While in Amsterdam, the team played a pair of exhibitions and toured the sights that Amsterdam has to offer, including taking a canal tour. The team traveled to Germany for a day and toured a castle.

"This was my second consecutive trip to Amsterdam with USAAI taking a men's team to compete," Booher said. "It was fun touring another country, getting to coach different players from around the country, and competing against volleyball players in the Netherlands. I will treasure the time spent overseas learning and enjoying the game of volleyball."

The team then played a tournament in Groningen, Netherlands, finishing in a tie for second in their pool. In 10 sets played, they won six, but didn't qualify for the championship tournament.
