    BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University Director of Athletics David Hicks announced the resignation of head cross country and track and field coach Desmond Pierce. Pierce has accepted the director of compliance position at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn.

    OAKWOOD, Ga. – The King University men’s cross country team finished the season with a 20th place finish at the NCAA Southeast Region Cross Country Championship on Saturday morning. The Tornado were led by Blaine Metcalf who finished 110th.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The King University men’s cross country team had a solid race on Friday night as five individual set personal records at the Royals Cross Country Challenge. The Tornado finished 34 in a deep field and were led by Daniel Kovalchick.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The King University men’s cross country team took to the course again on Saturday at the Greater Louisville Classic. Blaine Metcalf was the top Tornado finisher taking 133rd in a deep field.

    BLACKSBURG, Va. – The King University men’s cross team took to the course on Friday at the Virginia Tech Alumni Meet and a pair of Tornado set personal records. King finished seventh at the meet, and second among NCAA Division II teams.
