King Softball collects national stat rankings

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College collected three Top-25 NCCAA Softball stat rankings in the newest report in the national office. The Lady Tornado also had three NCAA Division II stat rankings right outside the Top-100.

Stephanie Mueller (Mt. Washington, Ky.) was No. 9 in the NCCAA hit by pitch category with 0.19. In the same category was teammate Tiffany Harris (Radford, Va.) at No. 23 with 0.13.

King used a .948 fielding percentage to rank No. 15 in the NCCAA.

Within the NCAA Division II rankings the highest Lady Tornado individual was Samantha Watts (Nashville, Tenn.) at No. 103 with one save. She was No. 94 a week ago. Watts was No. 115 this week in 1.97 walks allowed per seven innings.

King used 0.24 double plays per game to rank No. 127 among NCAA Division II teams.

The Lady Tornado finished the regular season at 13-27 after a split Tuesday.
