King powers past Washington Adventist, 91-43

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The King College women's basketball team made it five straight wins as the Lady Tornado beat Washington Adventist 91-43 Saturday on the second day of the 2011 Independent Invitational hosted by the University of the District of Columbia.

King, now at 11-15 on the season, will play Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University Sunday at 4 p.m.

In the Lady Tornado's five-game winning streak the team has averaged 75.8 points per game which is 12 points above the team's season average. King's opponents have scored 45.0 points in the last five games.
