Three Tornado selected academic All-Conference Carolinas

Conference Carolinas Basketball Academic All-Conference Teams

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Conference Carolinas basketball regular season ends on Friday, and the league has announced their academic all-conference recipients. King University had three players recognized, two from the women's team and one from the men's team.

Kristen Cupples and Miyah Cook earned the distinction from the women's team, carrying grade point averages of 3.27 and 3.56, respectively. Cupples is King's second-leading scorer wither her average of 10.5 points per game while Cook has appeared in four games for the Tornado.

Drew McCrary earned the honor for the men with his GPA of 3.83.

Conference Carolinas academic all-conference teams are comprised of junior and senior student-athletes who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution.
